Iouanalao: new addition to our fleet
We are pleased to announce a great new addition to our fleet - Iouanalao - a 30' Grady White Tournament 307 with twin 250 engines. Iouanalao is registered to charter in St Lucia and is perfect for up to 4 anglers or a party of up to 8 people for sightseeing, snorkeling and entertaining. Iounalao is fully equipped with state of the art rods and reels, is available for half or full day charters.
This is a great option for smaller parties and outings and when BB Kingfisher is already booked.
BB Kingfisher, our other boat is the beautiful 60’ Bertram Flybridge convertible, completely renovated in the summer of 2011. She is the newest and best-equipped charter in the Eastern Caribbean. State of the art features include twin 1400 hp diesel engines, custom fighting chair, electric reels for deep drops, all new fishing gear and air conditioning. Available for half and full day fishing charters, pleasure cruises and extended charters to the Grenadines and Martinique.

This is what Thom, a senior executive from New York who came on board for a 1 day pleasure cruise with 4 adults and 4 children back in January, wrote to us about their experience:
“Stunning Boat Charter - MUST DO while visiting St Lucia”: Wow. What a stunning day! The highlight of our vacation was easily the day we spent on the BB Kingfisher, cruising from one end of St.Lucia to the other. We stopped in Marigot Bay for a quick dip and swim in front of Dr. Dolittle's house from the 1966 film. Motored on to Soufriere where we had a fun lunch and breathtaking views at the Ladera Resort, followed by sightseeing, which was all arranged by our exceptionally accommodating Captain - Bebe! Afterward, while taking in a mesmerizing sunset, we sailed back to the ship's private dock at The Landings.
The yacht is in perfect condition - the bathrooms were as well appointed, and almost as large, as our apartment's in NYC. We used the galley, changed in the bedrooms, read on the flybridge, enjoyed a little AC when things got hot outside and, overall, had an amazing day afloat.
We were two families for a total of 9 (4 adults and 5 kids) and felt that there was enough room for several more had we wanted anyone else to join. Both our families will heartily recommend the Kingfisher as a MUST DO while visiting St. Lucia!

This is what Francois, a French senior executives living in London who came for a day's sport fishing with 7 American and European colleagues had to say about his day on the vessel:
“Great boat and very helpful crew, overall an highly recommendable experience”
We went with 8 friends most of whom had little or no previous fishing experience. Nevertheless all of us had a chance to catch a big fish (mostly marlin but also mahi-mahi and spear fish).
The captain knows the island inside out, will point you to the best fishing area and give you all the required tips to land your fish.
Great opportunity to have a different perspective on the Island and its pitons in the most luxurious chartered boat around.
Perfect location, great fishing beautiful scenery. The captain was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The accommodations were top of the line.
Overall a highly recommended trip, even if you are a total beginner.

The latest review we received is from Dinae from Chester Country, USA who also posted great pictures on Tripadvisor and wrote the following:
We caught a Marlin!” Amazing day aboard the BB Kingfisher. A great adventure for all. BeBe, the captain, is a local and knows the island and the fishing spots better than anyone. The boat is beautiful, probably the nicest boat on the island, having been completely renovated under new ownership. We left the private dock of the Landings and dropped 6 lines fairly quickly. Most of us had never fished for game fish, but all the rods were baited and placed in the water for us. A reel began spinning within 15 minutes. I was directed to the "chair" and the fun began. Big fish on! Catch and release, but BB the Captain estimated 250lbs. We didn't argue!

We had a wonderful experience with BB Kingfisher. Their main boat was not available to us at the time. They went out of their way to secure us a very beautiful replacement boat for the day. The three man crew, or I let me clarify two man, one women crew were professional, well informed and terrific with our young children. We chose to see many sights on the Island, and all tours were handled very smoothly. Next time we visit St Lucia BB Kingfisher day trips will be a experience we will choose to experience again!
